The Papillon is managed by Rex Resorts and situated on Reduit Beach, a wide sweep of sand on the north west coast of St.Lucia.
Approximately 90 minutes from the international airport.
Facilities:
The popular Papillon is an All - Inclusive hotel where the price includes meals and drinks.
Regular evening entertainment features local and cultural shows.
There is also a swimming pool, fully-equipped gymnasium, and two tennis courts (equipment hire extra). Water-sports are available from the beach at extra charge (windsurfing, sunfish sailing, and snorkelling are complimentary).
Scuba diving, deep sea fishing and horse riding can be arranged through the hotel, and a golf course is just 3 miles away (all payable locally).
Baby-sitting can be arranged at extra charge.
There is a children's club at the adjacent sister hotel Rex St. Lucian which is open Monday - Friday 1000 - 1600 and accepts children from 4 - 12 years staying at either hotel.
This hotel has 140 rooms:
Standard all have king or twin beds, shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, radio, balcony or patio. Superior additionally have bath and TV, but do not have ceiling fan. Beachfront are the same as Superior but are more spacious and include a sitting area, fridge and hair dryer.
Opinion: Situated on a wide sandy beach the hotel is particularly suitable for children and lovers of water-sports.
